Current skincare routine.

Sunday 12 April 2015

So, let's talk skin care shall we?
I won't lie to you, it took a good long time for me to get any sort of skin care routine together. But when I did, I can't express how much of a difference it made to my skin.

For a little bit of background, I'll tell you that my skin has always been blemish and acne prone. As a teenager my skin was bad, and I mean baaaaaad. A complete knock to my confidence and something I  struggled to get on top of. The amount of different products/medicines/treatments I have tried are endless.

However, I was introduced to the 'Anti-Blemish' solutions range by Clinique and the difference is incredible. Truly.
Buying all of the products together, including the cleansing brush in one fell swoop, was quite expensive, but seeing the results.. I can't put a price on that.

Although this is my current routine, I feel like my skin is now pretty much blemish free and I will be moving onto a new routine and it'll probably be Clinique products.

I would like to stress, that not only do I believe these products have played there part in changing my skin, but focusing on what I put into my body is key. More on that later!

  4. Haven't tried these Clinique products yet as I always found them a bit too pricey, but I'd definitely like to try them out :-)

    1. The eye cream is a delight, but definitely pricey. Sometimes the department stores have a 'price match' event and they take 10% off. Not a lot, but it's something :) xx

  8. It's awesome that this works for you. I've also had bad acne during my teens and still have blemishes to show for it. I always assumed that a sonic brush would make things worse.

    1. I definitely agree, I think different things work for different people. This definitely worked for me. I found with the brush, it helped clear my pores, much more effectively than I could with just my hands. This might not work for everyone, I don't know. But it's all a bit trial and error, until you find something that works for you. Hope you manage to find something lovely xx

  12. This is a great little post. My skin is quite troublesome - it's quite oily and acne prone! I've found a great mask which is a great contributing factor to the results I see now.

  14. How is the Clinque brush? I've been wondering if it is a good alternative to the Clarisonic .

    1. I personally think it's great, having never tried the Clarisonic.. I can't compare them. But, using the Clinique Sonic Brush, my pores have reduced significantly, especially using the green bristles when angled around the nose area and across the t-zone. I couldn't recommend this brush enough. Truly! xx
