NYE.

Tuesday, 29 December 2015

Dress and boots: Both Zara (Sold out online, but currently on sale in stores).  Black Lipstick: Barry M.

Well hello there, my lovelies.

Did you all have a good Christmas? I'm hoping that you did. Mine was rather delightful, if you were wondering.

The only downside.. I now feel the size of a house (and a mansion at that!), due to the amount of food that I decided to consume. Not that I regret it one bit, but I am feeling the need to wear something loose fitting for New Year's Eve.

In general, I'm not one to venture into the city on NYE, it's usual a nice night in with the girls, a few bottles of wine and more food (The diet can start in January). And just because i'm not hitting the town, that does not mean I'll be lounging around in my pjs.

This dress is a perfect spin on an LBD. The white panelling and keyhole detail on the back, give it that little extra touch to make it something special.

What will you be wearing and what are your plans?

Pleather.

Thursday, 26 November 2015

 Dress: Zara. Clutch bag: Zara.

So, we are just on the fringe of December 2015.. How on earth did that little beauty roll around so quickly?

With December just on the horizon (next week in fact), this means the season of Christmas parties, festive meetings and indulgence.

It's safe to say, I truly can't contain my excitement.

When looking for that ultimate party dress, i'm a big fan of the delightfully classic LBD and
on one of my many (daily) walks through Zara, I clocked this lovely pleather shift dress.

For me, simplicity is key.
I love an outfit where there isn't a lot going on, so I can spend the majority of my time socialising, drinking and eating.. Cheese, olives, guacamole, bread (all types), cake, pasta.. Ok, I think i'll stop there.

Gig attire.

Wednesday, 18 November 2015

Dress: Zara.  Boots: Office (Old)(Similar).

Live music.
I adore it.

The atmosphere, the people, the music.. I love it all.

Tomorrow night i'm going to go and see The Fratellis in Nottingham and I can't wait.

The perfect gig attire is something that enables you to jump around like lunatic when the moment takes you and this may be the perfect dress.

Stocked in Zara in shades of dark green, red and classic black. A delightful paisley bohemian number which looks dandy paired with over the knee boots in winter and sandals in summer.

Winner!

Dress: Asos (Daisy Street).  Mules - Zara (Old)(Similar).

There's a chill in air and i'm a wimp.

Solution = Coverage from head to toe.

This little number has been in my ASOS wish list for quite some time and when I saw it slip into the sale.. Joy filled my little heart.

Perfect time too!

Another thing that is perfect for this chilly season.. The hair tuck.
Very chic and more importantly.. Effortless.

Summer uniform.

Friday, 12 June 2015

Sunglasses: New Look (Similar). Shirt: Zara (Similar). Wrap Skirt: WarehouseBoots: Topshop (Similar).

With this delightful weather gracing us of late, I will be wearing a variation of this outfit, on a daily basis.

Now I do enjoy the warm weather, but I truly cannot stand feeling hot and sweaty *shudders*.
So it's all about light weight materials and loose fitting items. All topped off with my ever faithful top knot.

Now someone point me in the direction of a good beer garden..

One colour.

Wednesday, 27 May 2015

Silde split top: Warehouse. Trousers: New Look - Old (Similar). Necklace: Zara - Old (Similar). Patent shoes - Old (Similar).

I'm all about dressing in one colour.
Head to toe, including matching lipstick and all.

I would say, that if you're going to rock one colour and one colour only, there are a few rules that  will help make the outfit work:

-Vary textures (Knits, linen, leather, silk.. The options are endless),
-Use different shades of one colour, such as burgundy, red, oxblood etc,
and last, but by no means least,
-Break up bright colours with complimentary accessories.

And now you're ready!

Would you rock the one colour look?
