I've said it before and i'll say it again.. Shoes are my weakness.

It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and me being me, I feel I ought to treat my self to a new pair. Of course I don't need a new pair, I just want a new pair, which is seems perfectly reasonable to me.

With the weather getting suitably warmer, I can't help but admire all the sandals. I tend to lean towards similar styles, such as chunky straps, low heels or mules. Timeless pieces that will take me through summer and onto the next.. Though we all know, I will still be buying more shoes.

A girl can never have to many.. Right?

High street.



Oh, the quest for the perfect a/w boot. 
It's time to pack away those sandals girls, but don't be sad as the boots currently on the market are a delight. The choice is incredible and I'm finding it hard to choose just one!
So i've put together a selection of a few of my favourite current pieces..

The high street is where you can find a myriad of different styles and prints for affordable prices.  Patent, croc, lace-up, leopard, snake, fringing and more, it's all there on the high street.  




Now, when I'm going for super high quality, I look nothing further than Jones Bookmaker. 
Slightly pricier than a few of the high street pieces, but these are more of an investment and will last you longer than a season.
If you're looking for something classic, something that will suit any outfit and something that will last   you for years to come.. Well, then look no further.

You may also notice that I am a sucker for their suede pieces. So dreamy!

Stepping into summer.

I feel like i'm no longer in the UK, the weather has been glorious and i'm developing a delightful glow. Happy days.
I do believe shoes make an outfit, so it's about time I refresh my shoe collection and get ready to step into summer. Here's an assortment of just how I would like to do that:


I remember when I was younger and used to be taken to Brantano to get my school shoes, I did enjoy those days and would try on shoe after shoe.
Now I may no longer need school shoes, but I do need shoes (of course). And the great thing about Brantano is the sheer amount of options and multiple different brands, including Clarks. 





Every season, without fail, New Look win the shoe game. 
It is safe to say that 75% of my New Look wish-list is shoes. Affordable prices and a ridiculous amount of variety means there's something for everyone!

Mustard.

So, i'm slightly obsessed with the colour mustard. By obsessed, I mean totally mesmerised. Just look at it!

Yellow in general can be a troublesome colour to pull off, but the warm tone of mustard is incredibly versatile. It compliments so many other colours and I personally think it is quite flattering on pretty much everyone.

I can pretty much guarantee that I will be wearing this colour, not only through Spring, but most likely Summer, Autumn and Winter (then repeat).

This week, was pay day week, but also bank holiday weekend to boot, and if you're like me, then you don't need an excuse to shop. However, any new purchases made.. "Well, I need something new for the bank holiday, and Easter, and just in general!".  

I have been lusting after various items from the H&M Trend section and it is about time I give a few of them a happy home with me. I can just feel the various ootd's coming together in my mind and it's beautiful, so very beautiful.

Valentines gift ideas, just for you.

Hey - I'll happily put it out there that i'm a single pringle and as much as I would like to convince myself that Ralph (my chihuahua) will be getting me a valentines gift, I doubt that will happen, harrumph. This is a holiday which is about love and I do believe that to welcome love into your life, you first need to love yourself (cheesy but true!). Now, I am working on that, it's a struggle as i'm sure you're aware. Valentines is a day renowned for showing your friends, family, partners and pets that you love them, but there's nothing wrong with treating yourself to. Here's a selection of what's currently on my wish list and what I believe are perfect little gifts to oneself.




1. Tom Ford - Velvet Orchid Eau De Parfum - £72.00

I have been on the hunt for a new perfume for quite some time and having read a few reviews, I think this may be my next scent of choice. This perfume is said to have beautiful floral notes but with a seductive, 'sexy' finish. Sounds like my kind of scent!

2. Happy Jackson - 'Love me, love my dangerously expensive shopping habit' shopper bag - £4

Not going to lie, I bloody love a good slogan, especially one that seems to be written about me.. Ha!

3. UGG - Coquette leopard slippers in charcoal - £100

I've never really been a fan of the classic style UGG boots, they're not really me. I do rather like the other style of shoes that they do. However, the slippers - my word! Little pairs of heaven, i'm telling you. I unfortunately do not own a pair myself (yet!), but I have tried on some.. it was a truly beautiful experience.

4. Flamingo Candles - Love Potion Jar Candles - £12

I have a thing for candles.. What blogger doesn't?!

5. 'Deliciously Ella' Cookbook by Ella Woodward £7.99

As is standard procedure, the time for a health kick rears its cheeky head every now and again. Lasts for a stupidly short amount of time usually, however, a few months ago I discovered 'Deliciously Ella'. So many amazing recipes and I regularly head over to her website for cooking/health inspiration. Cookbooks are one of my favourite types of book, so it would make sense to add this to the growing collection.

6. Hourglass - Ambient Lighting Palette - £40.00

This palette seriously looks like crushed pearls. Amazing! I have heard so many good things about the Hourglass range, and this palette in particular. It would be a bit of a splurge, but hey! If you're treating yourself, then you can't put a limit on the price.. Fact :D

7. Benefit - 'How to look the best at everything' £25.50

Since discovering Benefit's 'Rockateur' blush, my Benefit collection has grown quite extensively. I simply adore the small sets that they put together. The sets are great because you get the opportunity to sample different smaller versions of their products and see how you get on.

8. NARS - Semi matte lipstick in Funny Face - £20

Lipstick doesn't get much prettier than this. Enough said!
