I've said it before and i'll say it again.. Shoes are my weakness.

It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and me being me, I feel I ought to treat my self to a new pair. Of course I don't need a new pair, I just want a new pair, which is seems perfectly reasonable to me.

With the weather getting suitably warmer, I can't help but admire all the sandals. I tend to lean towards similar styles, such as chunky straps, low heels or mules. Timeless pieces that will take me through summer and onto the next.. Though we all know, I will still be buying more shoes.

A girl can never have to many.. Right?

Spring shoe edit.

Sunday, 27 March 2016

Nothing shouts spring summer to me than neutral tones and I adored it in footwear. Whether it be flats, heels or trainers, neutral toned shoes are definitely a step in the right direction.

I already own two pairs of Melissa shoes and those block heeled sandals will definitely be joining my expanding collection.

Season after season after season, a classic black shoe never fails.. Ever. I'm sure we all can't wait for those delightfully warm days where we can slip on a pair of sandals and a pretty summer dress.

With that being said, chelsea boots can be worn all year round, especially if they are well made. You can't beat a classic, just like those beautiful Michael Kors pair. I can see them dress up with a lovely summer dress or dressed down with mum jean and a slogan tee.

I have never been a trainers girl. Of course I have always had a pair, but only worn them occasionally. If you had told me a year ago that I would look to pair them with most outfits, I would've rolled my eyes and probably giggled.

It's funny how your tastes can change.

Now I look forward to pair a classic trainer with jeans and a smart blazer. Or trying out a patterned reptile pair with an all black outfit!

Stepping into summer.

Monday, 8 June 2015
I feel like i'm no longer in the UK, the weather has been glorious and i'm developing a delightful glow. Happy days.
I do believe shoes make an outfit, so it's about time I refresh my shoe collection and get ready to step into summer. Here's an assortment of just how I would like to do that:

I remember when I was younger and used to be taken to Brantano to get my school shoes, I did enjoy those days and would try on shoe after shoe.
Now I may no longer need school shoes, but I do need shoes (of course). And the great thing about Brantano is the sheer amount of options and multiple different brands, including Clarks.

Every season, without fail, New Look win the shoe game.
It is safe to say that 75% of my New Look wish-list is shoes. Affordable prices and a ridiculous amount of variety means there's something for everyone!

Which are you faves?

Stripes and Bell Sleeves.

Monday, 27 April 2015

Top: H&M.  Midi Swing Skirt: Topshop (Similar).  Boots: Zara.

You may have seen this little striped peplum number is this recent post, and i'm sure I don't have to tell you how it goes, but I will anyways - I'm nice like that:

Girl sees item of clothing online, girl exercises constraint, girl dreams about item of clothing, girl realises she doesn't need that particular item of clothing, girl buys item of clothing.

Coachella.

Red or Dead - Mustard Yellow Sandals (old) Similar and Similar

Now, i'm sure everyone has seen the recent street style posts from Coachella. Which means festival season is officially upon us!

I would've adored to go Coachella, and if I did, this is the type of outfit that I would've gone for.

All I would need to do, is throw on a pair of sunnies and i'd be good to dance the night away.

What festivals have you got lined up for this summer, lovelies?
